Training
Course selection, prerequisites, and what to expect from OTF and OTO.
What's the difference between OTF and OTO?
Offensive Tooling Foundations (OTF) is designed for beginner to moderate-level students and covers foundational offensive tools over 8 hours. Offensive Tooling for Operators (OTO) is a 16-hour course for intermediate to experienced practitioners and goes deeper into operator workflows and multi-stage scenarios.
Can beginners take Offensive Tooling for Operators?
OTO assumes familiarity with basic offensive security concepts and tools, but all skill levels are welcome. If you are still building confidence with command-line tooling, methodology, and lab workflows, OTF is usually the better starting point.
What equipment or software do I need?
You need a laptop with at least 8GB RAM, though 16GB is recommended, the ability to run virtual machines with VMware, and a stable internet connection.
How current are the course materials?
Courses are updated regularly to reflect current offensive security trends, tools, and techniques. Chris actively works as a pentester, keeping the material grounded in current practice.
Course Access & Materials
Recordings, lab access, certificates, and what students keep after class.
Do I get lifetime access to the course materials?
You receive permanent access to slides, reference materials, labs, and class recordings. OTF includes 6 months of Cyber Range access; OTO includes 12 months.
Are the courses recorded?
Live Antisyphon platform classes are recorded, and students receive 6 months access to recordings. Other conference formats may vary. On-demand courses are fully pre-recorded and available through Antisyphon.
Will I receive a certification?
You will receive a certificate of completion. These are not industry certifications like OSCP or GPEN, but they do document your training and skill development.
What if I have more questions during the course?
Live classes include time for questions and direct instructor interaction. On-demand students can use the Antisyphon platform support path for questions about course content, and Ridgeback is always reachable through the contact page.
